You are in safe company! I would love to be your guide on your own unique yogic journey. Because I believe that YOGA IS FOR EVERYONE - the fit, the less fit, the young, the older and the non spiritual types.
I am not a former gymnast or a dancer, and I wasn't born more flexible than you. There are many advanced yoga poses that seem indeed intimidating and impossible at first, but I keep exploring them with curiosity and a sense of adventure. I am excited about the journey ahead, and of all that I will discover. For me, it is never about mastering handstand or a challenging arm balance, but about facing my fears with courage, a dedicated practice, patience and self-acceptance.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with you so you can find out what yoga means to you. I am confident that yoga can not only make you physically stronger, but emotionally more grounded, and spiritually more compassionate.
And if you are fit and able, that's perfectly okay. I will challenge you plenty!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A TYPICAL YOGA CLASS?
Classes vary and I like to keep things interesting. I bring a particular theme to work on, but it is merely a suggestion, a conversation. What ultimately determines the direction of the class really depends on the particular needs of the participants. Whether we do a fiery, or a more meditative practice, I'll encourage you to continue to challenge yourself, but never beyond your comfort zone. You are in charge of your body, I am there to support you and guide you in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
I like to integrate different styles of yoga like fiery Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow, cleansing Kundalini and meditative Yin and restorative yoga into my teaching. I believe that they provide a different path to the ultimate goal - feeling great in your skin. I then close the practice with some guided meditation to ensure that you leave feeling relaxed, and (if I've done my job right) with a smile on your face :)
